Social Media Tip of the Day: Downloading your Facebook Information

You can now download all of the information you share on Facebook.

In case you haven’t been to your Facebook “Account Settings” page in a while, you might want to check out the new feature that allows you to download your Facebook information.
According to that page:

This tool lets you download a copy of your information, including your photos and videos, posts on your wall, all of your messages, your friend list and other content you have shared on your profile. Within this zip file you will have access to your data in a simple, browseable manner.

Facebook requires authentication of your identity before allowing the download.
